Rebuilding Lives

As part of our efforts to help the returnee families in tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in rebuilding their lives, Islamic Relief in collaboration with UNDP is rehabilitating 30 damaged existing markets through market committees in Bara Tehsil, Khyber district.

Mr. Kashif Qayum, Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Bara, distributed cheques among members of 11 market committees.

Market rehabilitation will help generate temporary employment opportunities and boost the economic activities in the area. We believe together with other stakeholders we can bring positive changes to the lives of millions.

This initiative is taking place under FATA Economic Revitalization Programme (FERP) funded by USAID.
