WASYLA introduces an integrated model to empower communities through a Poverty Graduation Approach integrated with Islamic Relief Pakistan (IRP)’s Child and Woman Development Programming (CWDP) in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Quetta.
Objectives
the most vulnerable and at risk groups of society i.e. ultra-poor women, people with disabilities, older people, widowed families and unemployed youth affected by urban poverty through Poverty Graduation Approach.
upon the community-led approach, Islamic Relief Pakistan envisages upscaling and expand the already established program niches in the proposed areas under the umbrella program of CWDP.

The model has been designed in the light of needs assessment and situation analysis conducted in the intended project locales and aims to contribute to economic and financial protection and social inclusion of these excluded groups of society while reducing the glaring impact of urban poverty during project life of three years.
Islamic Relief Pakistan partnered with Islamabad Capital Police for establishing Pakistan’s first Learning and Leadership Hub for women through which women can learn and improve their driving skills, getting certifications and licenses.
