Because of the recent escalations at LoC AJ&k, a total of 529 families (3,176 individuals) have been displaced, with 17 deaths, 51 injuries, and 139 houses reported as damaged. A significant portion of the affected population is within the 0–17 age group, indicating a high number of children and adolescents among the affected.
The 58% people residing near the border are also facing protection concerns due to damaged shelters, as many are currently living in public schools and even with relatives, lacking adequate privacy and safety. They also lacks access to clean water, hygiene and dignity kits, primarily due to damaged infrastructure and widespread displacement across AJ&K
The lack of adequate shelter and the ongoing displacement have worsened the vulnerability of these families, leading to psychological distress, and further amplifying their suffering during an already traumatic crisis.

For many, Eid is a time of joy, reunion, and spiritual fulfillment. A day marked by new clothes, warm meals, and the comfort of home. But for the 529 families recently displaced by escalations along the Line of Control (LoC) in AJ&K, this Eid will be anything but not normal.
This is why your support matters.
In times like these, even a small act of generosity can bring relief and hope.
Your Qurbani can bring more than just food. By donating your Qurbani for AJ&K, you’re not only fulfilling a sacred obligation, but also ensuring that a displaced family can experience the spirit of Eid, even in crisis.
Share your blessings with those who need them most. Because no one should face Eid hungry, homeless, or forgotten.
How the Qurbani Process Will Work for AJ&K
In AJ&K, Qurbani animals will be procured and slaughtered in Karachi, then immediately frozen and transported to AJ&K in refrigerated trucks and will ensure that it reaches to the displaces families of LoC AJ&K.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“For every hair on the animal sacrificed, you will receive a reward.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 5541)
