Able to celebrate Eid like every Muslim around the world is a dream for underprivileged communities. Getting new clothes and gifts on Eid is something that thousands of families are not able to afford. Through the Eid Gift Programme, gifts were distributed among the communities recovering from floods in Dadu, Sindh.
A family happy to receive Eid gifts from Islamic Relief
The gift packs with new clothes and school bags delighted the local communities especially the children. Already left with nothing after the floods of 2022, these families would not have been able to enjoy the blessings of this Eid.
“Our children will be celebrating Eid this year like everyone else and we cannot be any happier”, words of a mother who was worried about getting her children new clothes.
