Islamic Relief Pakistan has entered the 30th year of its work in Pakistan by signing a ‘Letter of Agreement’ with the National Commission on the Rights of Child (NCRC) to protect the next generation of the country from abuse, violence, and child rights violations through meaningful partnerships and dedicated efforts.

Street children and their families face immense challenges such as poverty, inequality and discrimination, which have been further aggravated by the pandemic. The partnership is aimed at harnessing the collective expertise to protect the rights of the children who live under challenging circumstances.

Islamic Relief Pakistan under its flagship Child and Woman Development Programme is carrying out multiple initiatives focusing on the protection and welfare of street children, orphans and widowed families with sponsorship, skills development and bringing street children back to school.
