Partners with BISP
Islamic Relief Pakistan and Benazir Income Support Programme have collaborated to promote inclusive development initiatives that will improve the effectiveness of poverty alleviation efforts for Pakistan’s most vulnerable populations.

This partnership is a strategic step to expand Islamic Relief Pakistan’s outreach. It will also be helpful in accurately identifying and catering to those most in need ultimately amplifying the impact of our initiatives.

Promoting Social Equity
Dr. Amjad Saqib, esteemed founder of Akhuwat and Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme, shared his invaluable insights and wisdom with the Islamic Relief Pakistan’s staff.
Dr. Saqib highlighted the importance of a sense of collective responsibility and compassion, stating, “We have to create a beautiful world, where our neighbors’ happiness is intertwined with our own”, emphasizing the significance of empathy and solidarity in building a more equitable society.
Dr. Amjad Saqib also stressed upon to address the unequal distribution of resources to end poverty. Pointing out the tremendous scale of cooperation and synergy, development organizations can create the difference we dream of making a better world for all.
He commended Islamic Relief’s multifaceted work across Pakistan, praising our efforts in supporting orphans, widows, addressing climate change, implementing graduation programmes, and empowering individuals with skills.
