Islamic Relief Pakistan and the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) have entered into a strategic partnership to advance collaborative efforts in climate change, research, and policy advocacy.
This important collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a shared commitment to promoting sustainable development and resilience for Pakistan’s most vulnerable populations.
Through this partnership, Islamic Relief and SDPI will leverage their respective strengths to co-develop evidence-based research, facilitate policy dialogue, and design impactful interventions that address pressing challenges including climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, sustainable livelihoods, WASH, and community resilience.
By fostering knowledge exchange and advocating for inclusive, data-driven policies, the two organizations aim to influence national and provincial development agendas in favor of marginalized communities who are often left behind in climate and development discourse.
Together, we reaffirm our commitment to amplifying local voices, bridging the gap between research and implementation, and ensuring that development is people-centered, sustainable, and just.
