In Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) areas situated at the Line of Control (LoC) District Haveli, Chakothi, and District Bagh were selected for distribution. Meanwhile, Tirah Valley of the newly merged Khyber tribal district where displaced communities are returning to their native land was also covered under the seasonal programme. In Balochistan, food packs were distributed among communities in Kharan.

More than 10,000 households were part of our Ramadan Programme this year across Pakistan.

Anila, the girl wearing green shalwar qameez in the picture on the right said: “I help my mother with making sehri and iftar in Ramadan. We also make special dishes and share with our neighbours and friends. I love to make samosa and pakora (traditional iftar items in Pakistan) as without them our iftar is considered incomplete.” Anila is an orphan and studies in 10th grade.
