The
Sacrifice
Continues

Every year, we renew the bond of humanity through our #Qurbani Programme on Eid ul Adha. This year not only did we celebrate the sacrifice in new areas but also carried out the biggest Qurbani by reaching almost 26,000 households across Pakistan.

We distributed meats packs to the communities in the remotest parts of the country in tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and AJ&K. With our Sindh office being operational, our Qurbani packs were also shared among the communities in urban slums of Karachi.

In a historic first, IRP distributed Qurbani meat packs among inmates at Central Jail Peshawar who are often forgotten on such occasions.

Islamic Relief Pakistan this year launched its Qurbani campaign “The Sacrifice Continues” that not only reminds us to put others before ourselves but also encourage people to become a reason that the sacrifice may continue, as Qurbani isn’t merely a ritual but a way of life. When coupled with generosity, it creates that beautiful balance on which societies thrive.  The ad can be viewed on the following link:
