We respond to emergencies of various scales, such as earthquakes, floods and droughts, at any given time and place. We help the affected communities with life-saving aid with food, shelter, water and protection.

Once the dust settles, we work with communities to better prepare for future emergencies and stay resilient. Islamic Relief Pakistan has responded to all the major emergencies across the country including 2005’s earthquake in AJ&K, Floods of 2010 and 2015, Mirpur Earthquake, droughts in Balochistan alongside recovery and rehabilitation in tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Islamic Relief is one of the biggest responders to the June 2022’s devastating floods that washed away everything in different parts of the country and affecting a total of 33 million people.

Islamic Relief doesn’t only respond to the most immediate needs but stays there until lives and livelihoods are being rebuilt.

Being actively and strategically present in hard to reach areas of Pakistan, we are not only well-aware of the cultures but also the needs. Responding swiftly to emergencies, we distribute much needed aid such as medicine, food and water as well as clothing, shelter and personal hygiene items. Families pushed to the brink by poverty receive social assistance and support with access to food and safe shelter.

During the outbreak of COVID19, Islamic Relief in partnership with national and provincial governments provided the much needed relief through provision of PPE kits, medicines and above all raising awareness about the virus.

We aim to strengthen our collaborations to address any emergency by utilizing all the resources to save as many lives as we can.
