Pakistan is facing consecutive climate adversities for last couple of years. In this respect, Islamic Relief Pakistan, under its current strategic priorities, is pursuing climate adaptive and water efficient agriculture across the country. IR thematic leads are closely engaging with think tanks and research institutes to design and implement initiatives with climate adaptive lenses. IR has developed interface between communities and research bodies to practice context specific livelihood models.
In order to strengthen it further, IR has succeeded to sign MoU with Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC). It will lead towards evidence- based promotion of climate resilient agriculture and water resource management.
